Tu Ishq Tu Junoon Novel is the story of Jahangir Shah, the son of a wealthy businessman. He fell in love with a dancer, married her, and abandoned his first wife and son, Damish. He started living with his second wife and their daughter, Mehrish. Later, Damish mother also married her boyfriend and moved abroad, leaving Damish behind with his grand parents.
Damish’s grandparents were wealthy and provided him with the resources to start a business. He became a successful entrepreneur and soon turned into his father Jahangir Shah’s biggest competitor, eventually surpassing him. Damish resented his father for abandoning him in favor of his second wife, and this resentment fueled his determination to defeat him. He also harbored a deep dislike for women, as his own mother had abandoned him. However, he had a deep love for his grandmother (Dadi), who was very old and unwell.
To take care of his grandmother, Damish hired a nurse and met Priya, a medical student working to support her father’s cancer treatment. This marked the beginning of the love story between Damish and Priya.
Another significant character in the story is Dr. Dawood, a psychiatrist and a close friend of Damish. Dr. Dawood, once a proud and worldly man like Damish, changed his lifestyle after losing the love of his life. Her death led him to embrace spirituality and Islam. He frequently advised Damish to give up his destructive habits, like drinking, and to start praying.
This story also explores themes of hatred within close relationships, stemming from the mistakes of others. It highlights how hurting someone can provoke revenge, often causing harm that is deeply painful.
