Ek Lafz Ishq is a novel about several love stories, but the main focus is on Mehraj and Ayat. Ayat is raised by her brother, Hashir, and secretly loves Mehraj, but she keeps it hidden because Hashir has plans to marry her to someone else in the family. During the testing, he discovers that he isn’t Ayat’s real brother, her real brother is actually Salar, Hashir’s cousin. After a tragic accident in another city, Salar was the only survivor, and Hashir’s family took him in. Everyone thought Salar had died in the accident, so no one knew his true identity.
