Koi Baat Hai Teri Baat Mein by Umera Ahmed is based on the story of a girl named Mariam, who is a teacher and teaches first-grade students in a Christian school. She lives with the other staff members, who are all Christians. Mariam wants to recite the Quran, so she goes to a neighbor’s house where she meets Waleed.
She ignores the fact that he is alone and asks him to come regularly to get the Quran Majeed, which she will return after reciting. Waleed is a person who is not attached to Islam; he hasn’t read the Quran for a long time, drinks alcohol, and has relationships with other women.
However, when he is with Mariam, he cannot think badly of her. This is a spiritual story that explores how Mariam’s faith gradually influences him towards Islam and Allah. This story was also published in Shuaa digest for the first time and later on added to the book Maine Khwabon Ka Shajar Dekha Hai.
