Surkh Anchal is a novel that revolves around the lives of different people from the same family. Aariz and Ayat are cousins whose marriage has been arranged by their parents. However, Aariz is in love with a girl who lives in America and wants to marry her instead. As a result, he does not treat Ayat well and even asks her to convince his father to allow him to marry the girl he loves.
Another storyline follows Kabir and Nain. Kabir, Aariz’s elder brother, falls in love with a girl named Nain, who studies at the same college as his brother. He asks his parents, Murtaza and Madiha, to arrange his marriage with her. However, his father insists that he should marry within the family. Despite this, Kabir persistently pleads with his mother, who eventually agrees to visit Nain’s family, only to discover that she is already engaged to someone else.
The third story revolves around Affan and Parishey. Parishey is the sister of Aariz and Kabir, while Affan is their cousin. Affan loves Parishey, but her father, Murtaza, arranges her marriage with someone else, leaving Affan heartbroken. There are many other stories involving different characters as well. The novel is full of family drama, including mistakes that have life-altering consequences and disrupt the entire family.
