Mohabbaton ka Mosam is the story of two sisters whose parents passed away one after the other. They now live in their parents’ house with their paternal aunt, Rabia Begum. Rabia, whose husband has also passed away, has no children of her own.
The story revolves around Rabia Begum’s efforts to arrange marriages for both sisters, as they have reached the age of marriage. However, the elder sister, Maheen, faces constant rejection despite her beauty, mainly because of her weight.
Eventually, their cousin Aman starts showing interest in Maheen and sends a proposal through his mother. However, Aman later withdraws the proposal, revealing his true intentions were only to claim Maheen’s share in the house. Despite this betrayal, Maheen finds happiness when Umar, who genuinely falls in love with her, marries her.
Meanwhile, their other cousin, Momin, is in love with Fatima, the younger sister. However, Momin’s mother is against their marriage.
