Mera Sakoon Ho Tum tells the story of Zarkhan Abbasi, a feudal lord and renowned social and political worker. Zarkhan is on a quest to find his stepmother, Fatima, who left his father due to his activities and Zarkhan’s behavior towards her. After she left, Zarkhan was filled with sorrow and regret, realizing his mistakes.
Sixteen years later, Zarkhan learns about Fatima’s whereabouts, discovering she is terminally ill with a brain tumor. He visits her to seek forgiveness. During this time, he meets Mehram, Fatima’s niece, who has no one else in her life apart from Fatima. Mehram asks Zarkhan to marry her, and despite the age difference, Zarkhan agrees, marking the beginning of their story.
Another subplot involves Zamal Afridi, a young woman from a middle-class family who starts working as a receptionist. She falls in love with her boss, Shahbaz Hassan, who reciprocates her feelings. However, Shahbaz is already married and has a 17-year-old son, adding complexity to their relationship.
