Husna Aur Husn Ara by Umera Ahmed is a collection of four short stories, including the previously published Ab Mera Intezar Kar, Bas Ik Daagh-e-Nidaamat, and Aaj aur Kal. The new story, Husna aur Husan Aara, revolves around a well-known family. The wife, Dilshad, and her husband, Sufi Sahab, have a daughter named Husna. The story explores Dilshad’s pride in her family’s reputation and her shock when she learns that her daughter, Husna, has been involved with their neighbor, Akbar. Husn Aara helps Husna get married to Akbar, but Dilshad and Sufi Sahab initially believe that Husn Aara is unfaithful and trying to seduce Akbar while she is still married to Sufi Sahab. Eventually, Sufi Sahab and Dilshad realize that Husn Aara’s intentions were pure and that she was only trying to protect her daughter’s reputation. As a result, Husna and Akbar get married without any complications.
