Doosra Dozakh (Second Hell) is the heartbreaking story of a young woman named Saman, who is only 20 years old and has been married for two years. Despite all her efforts to make her in-laws happy, they never appreciate her and constantly exploit her family for money and financial benefits. They are always dissatisfied with her, no matter what she does.
Unknown to Saman, her in-laws are planning something terrible against her. One day, her husband, Mujahid, asks her to go to the kitchen, where a gas leak has already been set up. As soon as she enters, Mujahid locks the door, leaving her trapped. The gas ignites, and the kitchen catches fire. This horrifying incident leaves Saman scarred for life, both physically and emotionally.
The novel tells the story of Saman’s immense pain and disbelief that her own husband could do something so cruel. She lies in bed, unable to come to terms with the fact that Mujahid could harm her in such a brutal way. This tragic event marks the end of her trust and hope, turning her life into a second hell.
